The Athenaeum Comelianum de Litteris et Artibus was founded in 2023 as an international research centre devoted to the arts and letters. It sets out to fulfill the humanistic dream of Professor Marcello Comel (1902-1995), eminent physiologist and dermatologist, patron and collector, and founder of the Institutio Santoriana Fondazione Comel.
